Jane J. Bai
Jane J. Bai is a mother and registered physiotherapist in Toronto, with a deep-rooted passion for advancing pelvic health education. A graduate of McGill University’s Physical Therapy Program, Jane discovered her interest in pelvic health through an elective course on Female Incontinence, which ignited her interest in this area. Since then, she has completed over 15 courses on pelvic health across diverse conditions in men and women, from urinary incontinence and chronic pelvic pain to prenatal and post-cancer care. Jane is dedicated to keeping her practice evidence-based, attending international conferences to stay at the forefront of physiotherapy innovations.
Beyond her clinical practice, Jane has worked to expand access to pelvic health knowledge and care. She spearheaded the development of pelvic health programs at multiple clinics across the Greater Toronto Area, fostering greater awareness and accessibility for individuals in need. In 2021, she launched the YouTube channel *Body Scan with Jane* to provide guided meditations tailored for anyone with pelvic health dysfunction and Pelvicpro, which is a pelvic health advocacy & virtual physio business.
Jane’s educational journey is paralleled by her mission to empower others, particularly new moms, to understand and take charge of their pelvic health. In her free time, she enjoys staying active through yoga & playing tennis, while also making time for her favorite podcasts, culinary adventures around Toronto, and her family.
