Joanne Tishenko – After completing a Bachelor of Human Kinetics (BHKin) degree at Trinity Western University (TWU), Joanne fulfilled her dream of becoming a physiotherapist and graduated from the University of British Columbia (UBC) in 2004 with her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy (BScPT).
Since obtaining her Physiotherapy degree in 2004, Joanne has gained significant experience treating a wide range of orthopaedic injuries for all ages and fitness levels. During her years of practice, and after becoming a mother of two herself, Joanne gained a keen interest in pre- and post-natal care. Through her years of treating pelvic girdle pain/dysfunction during and after pregnancy, she felt there was a need to further her skill set and pursued further education in pelvic health physiotherapy through Pelvic Health Solutions. Since then, Joanne has gained a strong passion for pelvic health and loves to observe the life changing benefits her clients can obtain through treatment.
When Joanne is not working, she can be found running after her two active and fun-loving young girls, while sneaking in time to read a good book and dream about her family’s next travel adventure.
