Amanda Jones obtained a Master of Science degree in Physiotherapy from McMaster University in 2013. Prior to that, she completed a Bachelor of Science Degree in Honours Biomedical Sciences from the University of Waterloo as well as a Master of Science in Medical Sciences from McMaster University.  During her schooling, Amanda also worked as a Personal Trainer to help people reach their health and fitness goals.

Amanda developed an interest in Pelvic Health early on in her career and has taken numerous courses though Pelvic Health Solutions, allowing her to treat a variety of pelvic health conditions in both adults and children. She has also taken courses in Manual Therapy, Cancer Rehabilitation and Acupuncture.

She currently practices at a Private Practice Clinic in Orangeville, Ontario, where she sees patients for both Orthopedic and Pelvic Health conditions. She also teaches group Pelvic Health and Osteoporosis classes at the clinic. Amanda has a keen interest in exercise prescription and in helping people overcome any barriers that may prevent them from exercise.

In addition, Amanda has recently become a Peer Opinion Provider with expertise in Pelvic Health for the College of Physiotherapist of Ontario.

Outside of work, Amanda loves to hike, ski, read and to spend time with her husband and two sons.
