Claire Harris

Lab Assistant

Claire Harris, MScPT, works at a holistic, multidisciplinary clinic in Calgary called Intrinsi. She has passionately brought pelvic health to this clinic and strives to create an environment where women and men can feel both safe and confident discussing pelvic health concerns. Her interest in pelvic health came shortly after graduating, when her caseload was dominated by individuals experiencing chronic low back and pelvic girdle pain. Through learning opportunities with other practitioners, she began to appreciate what an integral role the pelvic floor has in successful rehabilitation for a variety of conditions, as well as the importance of a biopsychosocial approach.

Claire graduated from the University of Alberta and has completed several post graduate courses in pelvic health, as well as extensive training in intramuscular dry needling (IMS) and other manual therapy courses. Additionally, she enjoys running weekly balance and mobility classes for local seniors at Intrinsi. Claire is currently working to become certified in Clinical Pilates.

Through Pelvic Health Solutions, Claire has felt empowered and inspired to improve the quality of life of those she treats. She hopes to facilitate this excitement for learning in other practitioners by acting as a Lab Assistant and is honored to be a part of the team.
