Melissa Wong is a Pelvic Health Physiotherapist in Markham, Ontario, who believes that pelvic health encompasses so much more than “not leaking”.  After seeing hundreds of clients who have experienced the frustration, embarrassment, and challenges of pelvic floor dysfunction, Melissa sought out on a mission to change the narrative that these individuals face and opened Markham Pelvic Health in 2017.

As a Pelvic Health Physiotherapist, Melissa treats men, women, and children for pelvic health issues including incontinence, GI dysfunction, pelvic pain, sexual dysfunction, and pelvic organ prolapse.  She prides herself in mentoring new and seasoned Physiotherapists, Nurse Practitioners, and other healthcare professionals in the world of Pelvic Health and regularly takes part in continuing education courses and conferences.

Aside from her clinical practice, she loves getting out in the community running regular educational talks to medical and rehab groups, community groups, and special interest groups.  In her spare time, Melissa loves being outdoors hiking, camping, and snowboarding and sharing her interests with her husband and son.
