Lab Assistant

Renee Quiring graduated from McMaster University in 1987 with a Bachelor of Health Science in Physiotherapy. She worked initially as a sole charge physiotherapist at a Hospital in Northern Ontario. She moved to Kitchener and worked in an orthopaedic private practice; acquiring McKenzie A-C. Renee had four children in six years and decided to stay home during those busy years! After trying some teaching of Exercise Science at the high school level, she returned to her first passion of Physiotherapy. She successfully completed the National Certification Exam (PNE) on her first attempt in 2010. Renee returned to the hospital setting and worked at Freeport Hospital in the outpatient CardioPulmonary Rehab and NeuroRehab departments, obtaining NDT Certification. Renee loves to run and also watches her kids play basketball and volleyball during whatever time is considered spare!

Renee has a strong passion for pelvic health and completed 12 courses within her first two years of practicing in this field. She is a lab assistant for Pelvic Health Solutions and is currently working at the Centre for Pelvic Health.
