Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist: Founding Practitioner Opportunity
About the Opportunity
We are an established women’s health and pelvic health-focused practice expanding into a more integrated treatment, movement, and recovery space designed to support strength, confidence, and long-term physical resilience.
This expansion is based on direct client experience — bridging clinical care, pelvic-informed movement, and innovative tools to better support long-term outcomes.
The focus is on building a collaborative and supportive environment where clinical care, pelvic-informed movement, and recovery are intentionally connected.
This is not a traditional clinic setting or a typical gym.
We are currently seeking a Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist interested in contributing to and helping shape this next phase of growth.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physiotherapy program
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (CPO)
- Pelvic health training through Pelvic Health Solutions or equivalent accredited program
- Authorized to perform internal pelvic floor assessments and treatments
- Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills
Role Overview
- Conduct comprehensive pelvic health assessments (internal and external)
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans
- Collaborate with pelvic-informed movement professionals (kinesiologists, personal trainers, fitness instructors) to support safe and effective progression toward strength
- Provide guidance on return to exercise and long-term pelvic health management
- Support clients across the continuum from assessment and symptom management through to strength, function, and long-term pelvic health within an integrated care model
- Contribute to client education and, if interested, workshops or group programming
- Support women through key life stages, including pre- and postnatal transitions, perimenopause, and beyond — within a collaborative and supportive care environment
This role positions physiotherapy as a key clinical anchor within a broader, movement-integrated model.
The Environment
The space is being built alongside qualified, pelvic-informed movement professionals who already work within a strength and education-focused approach.
The intention is to create a setting where:
- practitioners communicate regularly and collaborate on client progression
- referrals are intentional and aligned across care and movement
- clients receive consistent messaging, not conflicting strategies
- strength and longevity are treated as part of the care continuum, not an afterthought
Practice Model
The structure is designed to be flexible and practitioner centered. Options may include:
- Room rental model for independent practice
- Revenue share model for those interested in a more integrated role
- Full clinical autonomy maintained within your physiotherapy scope of practice
- Access to shared movement and recovery space (change rooms, sauna)
- Cross-referrals within a collaborative practitioner environment
- Administrative and booking support
Practitioners maintain autonomy over their clinical practice while benefiting from a shared ecosystem.
Why This Opportunity
- Be part of expanding an established women’s health practice into a more integrated model
- Work alongside passionate, experienced, pelvic-informed movement professionals
- Work within a model that prioritizes a community driven environment, continuity of care rather than one-off treatment episodes
- Contribute to a model that supports clients beyond symptom resolution
- Opportunity to shape programming, education, and client pathways
- Flexible structure that supports both independent and integrated practice styles
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a physiotherapist who:
- Values collaboration and interdisciplinary care
- Believes movement and strength are essential to pelvic health
- Is interested in working alongside qualified movement professionals
- Communicates clearly and supports client education
- Interested in building a supportive, collaborative and intentional care environment
