Andrea Plitz
Lab Assistant

As a physiotherapist and yoga teacher Andrea loves to blend the science and art of biomechanical diagnosis and holistic therapeutics with movement, energy, and breath. She believes a big part of this is helping people to reconnect with their bodies in a new and individualized way taking into consideration their unique health and movement profile. This allows the body and mind to work together to enhance outcomes, integrating positive change in an easy and holistic manner to improve health, function, and movement, returning to oneness.

Andrea works with men and women with any musculoskeletal condition, as well as specializing in women’s health including pregnancy and postnatal care, pelvic floor rehabilitation for both men and women, complex pain or chronic pain conditions and Yoga as Therapy. She loves to continually learn by taking and assisting courses, creating and teaching workshops and trainings, as well as discussing the latest evidence to inform her practice with leading clinicians. Since completing her Masters in Physical Therapy from McGill University Andrea has expanded her clinical toolbox with a myriad of courses including myofascial release, craniosacral therapy, visceral manipulation, pelvic and women’s health, and medical therapeutic yoga.
