Michelle Vanderpol, MscPT, B.Kin (Hons), graduated from Queens University with a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy. It was during this time that Michelle became interested in Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy, completing her graduate research project in stress urinary incontinence.
Following graduation Michelle completed a variety of pelvic floor courses enabling her to assess and treat female and male pelvic health concerns. Michelle has also completed a variety of orthopaedic courses including working towards her Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Therapy through the Canadian Academy of Manual and Manipulative Therapy.
It is through this Pelvic Floor and Orthopaedic Physiotherapy background that Michelle strives to incorporate a whole-body approach to the assessment and treatment of various pelvic floor conditions, while educating individuals on the importance of positive pelvic health as a function of overall health and wellbeing. Michelle currently practices out of Caledon and Orangeville regions.
Michelle enjoys working as a Teaching Assistant for Pelvic Health Solutions, and is excited about the positive educational environment it offers.
