Ana Whelan received her Bachelor of Physical and Health Education degree from Queen’s University in 1994 and Bachelor of Education Degree from Ottawa University in 1995. In 2000, she graduated from McMaster University’s Physiotherapy program.
Over the past years, Ana has taken her advanced manual orthopaedic courses and enjoys a hands-on, manual therapy approach with her patients. She is currently treating men and women with pelvic health conditions in all 4 locations across Durham and Clarington Region.
Currently, she is a member of the Women’s Health Division, Orthopaedic Division, Pain Science and Private Practice Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. She is a certified practitioner of Rost Therapy treating pregnancy-related pelvic girdle pain. Her goal is to empower women and men with the skills and knowledge they need to live well again. With her commitment to life-long learning and continuing education, she enjoys working for Pelvic Health Solutions.
